Section 142
Termination of employment due to lack of performance

(1) As provided in the rules and regulations made under this Act, the employer may terminate the employment of a worker if his performance is not satisfactory or is found to be at a low level three times or more in a row.
(2) Before termination of employment in accordance with sub-section (1), performance evaluation shall be done as mentioned in this Act or the rules and regulations made under this Act.
(3) The employer of an establishment employing ten or more workers shall give at least seven days time to the workers before terminating the employment in accordance with this clause.
